Volleyball Recap: Carlmont Comes Up Short

If Carlmont was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Burlingame on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Scots fell 2-0 to the Valley Christian Warriors on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Scots in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost three in a row.

Carlmont's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Valley Christian, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4.

Carlmont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Half Moon Bay on the 11th. As for Valley Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Aragon on the 11th.
