After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Grand Junction, Grand Junction Central was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Eagle Valley Devils 34-0 at home. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 19-18 loss the last time these two teams met.

Grand Junction Central can attribute much of their success to Asher Carter, who threw for 135 yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Carter also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making two total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception. Dom Colosimo was in the mix too, providing Grand Junction Central with two touchdowns.
