Soccer Recap: Schuyler Extends Winning Streak to 15

It's playoff time, and Schuyler had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Hastings Tigers with a sharp 4-1 victory on Saturday. Considering Schuyler have won 14 contests by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Hastings with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Omar Genchi (2), Gaspar Juarez, and David Arciga.

The win was the 15th in a row for Schuyler, bringing their record up to 18-2. As for Hastings, they moved to 18-2 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Schuyler will take on Bennington at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bennington will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Schuyler surely won't give up without a fight. Hastings does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
