Recap: Silver Creek Raptors vs. Summit Tigers        
        
		
            
 The Silver Creek Raptors won the last time they faced the Summit Tigers, and things went their way  on Friday too. Silver Creek rang in the new year with a  44-34 win over Summit. Despite the  victory, that was the fewest points Silver Creek has scored all year.
 Leading Silver Creek to victory were  Ashoka Surkhang and  Gabe Selby.  Surkhang  scored 13 points along with eight  rebounds, while  Selby  scored nine points along with ten  rebounds. Those ten  rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of  Zander Storz, who  scored six points along with seven  rebounds.
 Silver Creek pushed their record up to 8-1 with that  win, which was their fifth straight  on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Summit, their loss  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 3-3.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Silver Creek will take on Holy Family at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Colorado (Holy Family is ranked 39th, while Silver Creek is ranked 23rd). As for Summit, they will be playing at home against Basalt at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
