Volleyball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Marion County Knights.

Marion County found their leader in sophomore Kenlee Shewmaker, who had five digs and two aces. Shewmaker is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 19 every time she's taken the court this season.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11-1. As for Marion County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-8.

Coming up, Central will welcome Ballard at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marion County, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Apollo on the 4th.
