Volleyball Recap: Clemens Triumphs

Clemens posted their closest win since October 8, 2024 on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Rouse Raiders 2-1. For the Buffaloes, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Raiders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2017.

Claire Untereiner paced Clemens' offense, picking up 11 kills. Untereiner got some help from Emily Corkill and her 15 assists. Rebecca Jubela controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Clemens' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Rouse, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Clemens wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Fulshear on the 14th. As for Rouse, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Forney on the 14th.
