Soccer Game Preview: Paraclete vs. Saint Joseph

Paraclete is 0-6 against Saint Joseph since January of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. The Paraclete Spirits will head out on the road to take on the Saint Joseph Jesters at 3:15 p.m. Paraclete is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5 goals per game this season.

Paraclete's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They had just enough and edged La Salle out 1-0. The Spirits' winning goal came courtesy of Camryn Freeman.

Meanwhile, Saint Joseph entered their tilt with St. Genevieve on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Valiants. Give the Jesters' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Saint Joseph pushed their record up to 14-1-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three games. As for Paraclete, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4-2 record this season.
