It was a good run, but Kearney unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-match winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northwest Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

Jamie Wilkens paced Kearney's offense, picking up 11 kills. Wilkens got some help from Lena Arnold and her 16 assists.

Kearney's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Northwest, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Kearney will face off against Norfolk on Tuesday. As for Northwest, they will venture away from home to take on Duchesne at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
