Volleyball Recap: Pinecrest Prep Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Somerset Academy (Silver Palms), Pinecrest Prep was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Westwood Christian Warriors with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Crocs' haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Pinecrest Prep walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 26-24, 25-14.

Pinecrest Prep pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Westwood Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Pinecrest Prep will challenge Pinecrest Glades Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Westwood Christian, they will venture away from home to challenge Somerset College Prepartory Academy South at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
