Basketball Game Preview: Legacy Academy vs. Lancaster Red Devils

Legacy Academy will square off against the Lancaster Red Devils at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday. Legacy Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten games -- so hopefully Lancaster likes a good challenge.

Last Thursday, in a tight contest that could have gone either way, Legacy Academy made off with a 65-64 win over Spirit HomeSchool.

Legacy Academy found their leader in sophomore Anderson Allen, who went 12 for 15 on his way to 27 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Allen has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ahkei Carter, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards.

Meanwhile, Lancaster waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 53-46 victory over the Trojans.

The win got Legacy Academy back to even at 6-6. As for Lancaster, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
