Baseball Recap: Sequoyah Takes a Loss

The Eagles were not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sequoyah Indians. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2017.

The Eagles' loss dropped their record down to 18-13. As for the Indians, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10.

The Eagles didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-6 win against the Rangers on the 1st. As for the Indians, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 9-1 defeat against the Bulldogs on the 1st.
