Volleyball Recap: Butler Comes Up Short

Butler kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Pembroke Hill Raiders by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2017.

Pembroke Hill has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Butler will host Harrisonville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pembroke Hill, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against St. Pius X at 6:00 p.m. The contest will give the Raiders their first taste of in-conference action this season.
