Baseball Recap: Bishop McNamara Mustangs vs. Gonzaga Eagles
Bishop McNamara was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gonzaga Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-1 back in March.
Tre Sheperd made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. Another player making a difference was Willis Coppedge, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Bishop McNamara's record now sits at 2-10-1. As for Gonzaga, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-8 record.
