Baseball Game Preview: Horse Creek Academy Stallions vs. Wagener-Salley War Eagles

The Horse Creek Academy Stallions will venture away from home to square off against the Wagener-Salley War Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Horse Creek Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.7 runs per game this season.

Horse Creek Academy easily dispatched Wagener-Salley on Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Horse Creek Academy fell just short of American Leadership Academy by a score of 10-8 on Wednesday. The Stallions' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Iniko Barker was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of Horse Creek Academy's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 4-2 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
