Baseball Recap: Silver Stage Comes Up Short

Silver Stage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 7-1 to the Oasis Academy Bighorns. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bighorns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 on Friday.

Silver Stage saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andreu Dubois, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Silver Stage's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Oasis Academy, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Oasis Academy beat Silver Stage by a score of 14-0 later that day.
