Baseball Recap: Upperman Comes Up Short

Upperman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 10-3 to the Middle Tennessee Christian Cougars.

Upperman saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rookie Allison, who went 1-for-3 with one double. Braden Green also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Upperman's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Middle Tennessee Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Upperman will host Roane County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Middle Tennessee Christian, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Middle Tennessee Christian Cougars face off against Portland Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
