Basketball Recap: Olney Comes Up Short

Olney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by the Seymour Panthers 69-37. The Cubs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-14.

Olney's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Seymour, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-3.

Olney will square off against Archer City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seymour, they will challenge Windthorst at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Windthorst will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Seymour surely won't give up without a fight.
