Boulder Creek had to settle for second on Thursday, but Karsten Cornell sure wasn't going down easily. Cornell scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-2, which was good enough to set a new career-high in stolen bases.

Looking ahead, Cornell and Boulder Creek will face off against Mountain Ridge at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Boulder Creek hasn't beaten Mountain Ridge recently, having gone 0-10 since March of 2019.
