Volleyball Recap: Parlier Takes a Loss

Parlier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Liberty Hawks, falling 3-0. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Hawks when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-12, 25-10.

Liberty can attribute much of their success to Makenzie Ward, who had eight digs and five aces. That's the most aces Ward has posted since back in September.

Parlier's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Liberty, they moved to 22-13-1 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Parlier didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Yosemite on the 22nd. As for Liberty, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Riverdale on the 21st.
