Basketball Recap: Bayou Academy Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Bayou Academy hadn't done well against Rossville Christian Academy recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bayou Academy Colts secured a 46-40 W over the Rossville Christian Academy Wolves. This was payback for the Colts, who suffered a 54-49 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Rossville Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Shaterrica Faulkner, who went 6 of 11 en route to 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance gave Faulkner a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Evey Nelson, who posted six points.
