Basketball Game Preview: East Rockingham Eagles vs. Harrisonburg Blue Streaks

The East Rockingham Eagles will square off against the Harrisonburg Blue Streaks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, East Rockingham strolled past Rocktown with points to spare, taking the game 47-33. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Harrisonburg). They took down Broadway 66-51 on Friday.

East Rockingham's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points per game. As for Harrisonburg, their victory bumped their record up to 2-9.

East Rockingham didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Harrisonburg when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 65-60 win.
