Soccer Recap: Stillman Valley Comes Up Short

The matchup between Stillman Valley and Harvard on Thursday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Cardinals fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 5-4. Amelia Dunseth is probably feeling rather frustrated with she team right now: they lost despite she posting three goals.

Stillman Valley's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-9. As for Harvard, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Stillman Valley and Harvard will both be playing Winnebago the next time they take the pitch. The Cardinals will host the Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Hornets will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
