Arkport Central put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Alfred-Almond Eagles with a sharp 11-1 victory. The Bluejays might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by seven runs or more this season.

Arkport Central's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Alfred-Almond, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arkport Central will square off against Dundee at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Alfred-Almond, they will take on Friendship at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
