There's no place like home for Lexington, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They breezed by the Morehead Panthers to the tune of 51-22 on Thursday. The Yellowjackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 29 points or more this season.

Lexington's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Angela Fosso, who went 7 of 14 on her way to 14 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Lily Ervin was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to eight boards and four steals.

Lexington smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Lexington pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Morehead, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-12.

Lexington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-33 win against East Davidson on the 24th. As for Morehead, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Morehead Panthers take on the West Stokes Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
