Basketball Recap: Hinckley-Big Rock Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Hinckley-Big Rock, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They strolled past the Somonauk/Leland Bobcats with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 58-40. The Royals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bobcats, too.

Hinckley-Big Rock now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Somonauk/Leland, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hinckley-Big Rock will venture away from home to challenge Pecatonica at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. Pecatonica will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Hinckley-Big Rock surely won't give up without a fight. As for Somonauk/Leland, they will challenge Dakota at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
