Baseball Recap: Cinnaminson Comes Up Short

After flying high against Pitman on Saturday, Cinnaminson came back down to earth. The Pirates fell just short of the Moorestown Quakers by a score of 8-7 on Monday. The Pirates were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Quakers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Cinnaminson's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Moorestown, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-5.

Coming up, Cinnaminson is taking a road trip to take on Camden County Vo-Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pirates are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Moorestown, they will head out to face off against Mainland Regional at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Quakers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
