Baseball Recap: Nordhoff Rangers vs. Hueneme Vikings
Nordhoff took an eight-run defeat the last time they faced off against Hueneme, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rangers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Vikings on Wednesday.

Weston Haley was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Nordhoff is 6-2 when he allows at most two walks, but 5-9 otherwise. Haley was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
