Basketball Recap: Natoma Falls to Otis-Bison in First Game of Season

Natoma unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were outmatched by the Otis-Bison Cougars and fell 63-30. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

Natoma lost on Thursday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Colton Prowse, who posted six points. Another player making a difference was Simone Benazzi, who put up six points and nine boards.

Otis-Bison has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Natoma won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against St. John's/Tipton Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Tigers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Otis-Bison, they will be playing at home against Cunningham at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
