Pennfield got themselves on the board against Comstock on Monday, but Comstock never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 17-0 margin over the Colts. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won four contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Pennfield and bumps their season record up to 9-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Comstock, they moved to 5-14 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Pennfield will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Colts: the pair will be back at it again later today.
