Basketball Recap: North Baltimore Takes a Loss

North Baltimore lost against Arcadia back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The North Baltimore Tigers took a 44-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Arcadia Redskins. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, North Baltimore saw an underclassman step up: freshman Lacie Allison dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. That was a full 59.4% of North Baltimore's points, marking the 11th time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. Josselyn Paynter was another key player, putting up three points and seven rebounds.

North Baltimore's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Arcadia, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-3.

North Baltimore will take on Pettisville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arcadia, they are taking a road trip to take on Pandora-Gilboa at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
