Softball Game Preview: Frontier Titans vs. Liberty Patriots

For the second straight game, Frontier will face off against Liberty. The Titans will host the Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Frontier's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Liberty's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Frontier is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Liberty get on the board and left with a 19-0 win on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Titans considering their one-run performance the match before.

Bailey Freeborn was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with eight RBI, one triple, and one run. Those eight RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tanisha Escarcega, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Frontier was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .474. They are 7-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Liberty has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Frontier, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-7.
