Volleyball Recap: Rockville Falls to Richard Montgomery in First Game of Season

Rockville unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Richard Montgomery Rockets on Monday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

While Rockville ultimately came up short, they really made Richard Montgomery work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 26-24, 25-8.

The win (which was Richard Montgomery's sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Looking ahead, Rockville will venture away from home to take on Blair at 6:29 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Richard Montgomery, they will challenge Walter Johnson at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
