Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Mobile Christian walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the St. Luke's Episcopal Wildcats on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Leopards in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won nine in a row.

Mobile Christian walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-15.

Mobile Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kensley Shanahan led the charge by getting nine digs and three aces. That's the most aces Shanahan has posted over her last seven contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Melissa Patel, who had 16 digs and four assists.

Mobile Christian's win bumped their record up to 26-10. As for St. Luke's Episcopal, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 25-15.

As of now, neither Mobile Christian nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
