Football Recap: Valley Victorious

Valley never let their opponents score on Saturday. They secured a 6-0 W over the Amador Buffaloes. The Vikings' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Jordyn Gibson threw for 104 yards and one TD. India Williams was her top target, picking up 65 receiving yards and one touchdown.

The victory made it two in a row for Valley and bumps their season record up to 2-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 points in those games. As for Amador, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Cosumnes Oaks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Amador, they will take on Edison at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
