Basketball Recap: Pineville Comes Up Short

Pineville lost against North Laurel back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pineville Mountain Lions were dealt a 73-25 defeat at the hands of the North Laurel Jaguars. While losing is never fun, the Mountain Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while the Jaguars are ranked fifth).

Pineville's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-16. As for North Laurel, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 29-2.

As of now, neither Pineville nor North Laurel have any future games scheduled.
