Soccer Game Preview: Yelm vs. South Kitsap + How To Watch

The Yelm Tornados will take on the South Kitsap Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Yelm's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Yelm fell victim to Sumner and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Yelm can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 231st, while Sumner are ranked 14th).

Meanwhile, South Kitsap sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Curtis on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for South Kitsap.

Yelm's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-2. As for South Kitsap, they now have a winning record of 6-5-1.
