Volleyball Recap: Johnson's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Johnson was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Cristo Rey Jesuit last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Governors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Edison Tommies on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Governors in their meetings with the Tommies: they've now lost four in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Johnson fell to 2-1. As for Edison, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Johnson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Chisago Lakes Area on the 4th. As for Edison, they will venture away from home to challenge Minneapolis Southwest at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The match will give the Tommies their first taste of in-conference action this season.
