Preview: Sky View Bobcats vs. Fremont Silverwolves

Sky View is 7-1 against Fremont since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Sky View Bobcats will be staying on the road to face off against the Fremont Silverwolves at 7:00 p.m. on December 21st. Hopefully Sky View focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Saturday.

Sky View scored the most points they've had all season to find success. They walked away with a 72-65 victory over Thunder Ridge. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

Sky View's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bryton Williams, who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Easton Mills, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds.

Meanwhile, Fremont's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Bountiful by a score of 55-53.

Sky View is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. As for Fremont, they bumped their record down to 6-4 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Sky View was able to grind out a solid victory over Fremont when the teams last played back in December of 2021, winning 78-71. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Fremont's David Calvert, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds. Now that he won't be playing on Thursday, will it be that much easier for Sky View to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
