Basketball Recap: Lincoln Falls Despite Big Games from Sadie Adams and Brystol Toth

Lincoln was the 73-50 winner over Gilmer County when they last played one another back in February of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Lincoln Cougars came up short against the Gilmer County Titans on Wednesday, falling 66-43. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brystol Toth and Sadie Adams certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Toth posted 11 points and five rebounds, while Adams scored 12 points and three steals.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Gilmer County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.

Lincoln has already played their next match, a 55-39 loss against East Fairmont on the 21st. As for Gilmer County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 45-41 defeat against Williamstown on the 21st.
