Softball Recap: Laguna Creek Falls Short of Inderkum in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Laguna Creek can now relate to. They fell just short of the Inderkum Tigers by a score of 6-5 on Wednesday. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aundrea Jackson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-5 with one home run and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Rials, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Laguna Creek's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Inderkum, their win bumped their record up to 15-13-1.

Laguna Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Inderkum, they will face off against Rocklin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Thunder will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
