NYOS Charter skates past Griffin School with ease

The NYOS Charter Jaguars came tearing into Monday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Griffin School 57-13 at home. NYOS Charter has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Trey Huff, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 15 rebounds. His trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Colin Shelton was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds and two steals.

NYOS Charter pushed their record up to 15-5 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.6 points per game. As for Griffin School, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.

NYOS Charter will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Meridian at 12:30 p.m. on February 3rd. As for Griffin School, they will be playing at home against St. Mary's at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
