Softball Recap: E.E. Smith Golden Bulls vs. Western Harnett Eagles

After flying high against Westover last Thursday, E.E. Smith came back down to earth. The E.E. Smith Golden Bulls lost 20-1 to the Western Harnett Eagles on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for E.E. Smith in their matchups with Western Harnett: they've now lost six in a row.

Makayla Nern made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all two of her plate appearances. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times she's played.
