Baseball Recap: Green Run Takes a Loss

Green Run was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They came up short against the Princess Anne Cavaliers, falling 16-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 back in March.

Green Run's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Princess Anne, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Green Run will take on rival Cox at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Princess Anne is set to square off against their familiar foe Landstown at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Cavaliers 3.4, the Eagles 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
