It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cleveland had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Lumberton Pirates a 10-0 shutout. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Maddie Murphy was a standout: she went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracie Ritchie, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Cleveland was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lumberton only posted a batting average of .000.

Cleveland's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Lumberton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Cleveland nor Lumberton have any future games scheduled.
