Baseball Recap: Penncrest Takes a Loss

Penncrest suffered their biggest loss since April 16th on Wednesday. They lost 16-2 to the Malvern Prep Friars. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Friars recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Penncrest saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Graham, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.

Penncrest's record now sits at 5-15. As for Malvern Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-5 record this season.

Penncrest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Malvern Prep, they will challenge Bishop Shanahan at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
