The biggest upset of the week belonged to Tinley Park, who took down 29th ranked Tinley Park, 22-21.

Bremen's Devonta Wilson recorded the longest rushing play in South Suburban - Blue this season in his game against Thornton Fractional North last week. Wilson ran for 80 yards on the play and finished with 178 on the day as his team topped the Meteors.

Bremen's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tyler Banovich threw for 78 and two touchdowns and Wilson had 37 yards receiving. Sean Grant helped Bremen's passing attack out by catching two balls for 33 yards.

Hillcrest's Devonte Brewer and London Covington have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Brewer has thrown for 952 yards this season, while Covington, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 37 catches for 610 yards. Wilson from Dan Stell's team leads the league in rushing with 750 yards.

Lemont was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Oak Forest 17-14. The Indians came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 41 last week.
