Softball Recap: Sandpoint Comes Up Short

Sandpoint lost to Post Falls back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans.

Sandpoint got a big performance out of Teagan Newsom, who got a hit. The team also got some help courtesy of Raelyn Olsen, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.

Sandpoint's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Post Falls, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Trojans beat Sandpoint by a score of 12-2 later that day.
