            Baseball Recap: St. Joseph Lancers vs. St. Thomas More Cavaliers        
        
		
        
        
            St. Joseph let St. Thomas More stack seven runs on them in the second inning  on Thursday but luckily St. Joseph prevailed anyway. The Lancers walked away with  an   11-7  win over the Cavaliers. The game was the first time the Lancers have beaten the Cavaliers on their field since April 26, 2022.
 Dominic Santarelli was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Santarelli was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all five of his plate appearances with one  home run, three  stolen bases,  and two  runs.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Peter Visconti, who  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, four  runs,  and one  triple. That's the most  runs  he has posted since April 1st. Another player making a difference was  Patrick Davidson, who  went 2-for-4 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.

St. Joseph pushed their record up to 9-2 with the  victory, which was their 12th straight  on the road dating back to last season. The  road  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for St. Thomas More,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at three games  and leaves them with a 6-4 record.
 St. Joseph has  already played their next  contest (against Warren), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for St. Thomas More, they will take on Menomonee Falls at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The Phoenix will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something the Cavaliers surely won't give up without a fight.
