Baseball Recap: Brewster Comes Up Short on the Road Against Walter Panas

Brewster had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Walter Panas Panthers by a score of 5-4 on Wednesday. The Bears have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Troy Vazquez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

The victory was the fifth in a row (dating back to last season) for Walter Panas, bringing their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Brewster will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Croton-Harmon at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Walter Panas, they will head out to take on Ketcham at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
