Basketball Recap: Cross Roads Comes Up Short

Cross Roads was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Cayuga Wildcats, falling 58-35. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 74-30 back in December of 2024.

Cross Roads' loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Cayuga, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-11.

Cross Roads will face off against LaPoynor at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cayuga has already played their next game (against Frankston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
